Repent

29 December 2004

Why no, I have not seen your brain today...

People are funny. And confusing. And crazy. But funny. Did I mention funny?
(Sorry, cannot tell you what that's ^ all about but trust me it's funny. So laugh w/o knowing why and join my little club for funny people, eh?)
I'm cleaning house some today. Was supposed to work but canceled once again. Good times. The clinical coordinator and I are bonding. She calls (and wakes me up) to tell me to go back to sleep. I find it funny.
Got to see Dawn and Marie last evening. We didn't really do anything but hang out and talk but still fun to see them. Marie is walking around like a little speed demon. Cute as ever. (She's my drool monkey. So messy! lol) She made out like a bandit at Christmas! So many toys, etc... Dawn is doing alright too. We had a nice little gossip session. Her older brother is, apparently, engaged AGAIN! I think he's trying for some kind of record. lol. Her sister is driving everyone crazy (like that's something new?). Her younger brother is busy being a brat and getting into trouble, but hey, "boys will be boys" right?
OMG! Grandmum pitched into me again yesterday about not having a bf. WTF mate? Why does she assume that I MUST have a man around or I'll be dreadfully unhappy? (And Julia, you suck. Folks, Julia didn't get asked once about having a bf during her family events this past week. What gives? I got asked at least a half-dozen times! Totally not fair!) I have to wonder if Grandmum just wants to be a great-grandmum before she reaches 70? Why else all the pressuring of her oldest grandkid to enter into a relationship with just anyone? Crikey! Life happens in a general/specific order and it should not be tampered with. Let it go and it'll happen as it should according to His plan, okay? (Sorry for the rant but it bothers me. It's like she blames me for not having a bf or something? Urgh!) OOOHHH! Or start on Dork already! He doesn't have a gf. Did ya know that grandmum? He's 16. Could have a kid or two in a few years, right? (Too bad I don't have any cousins older than Dork and me. Would make it even better, no?) Muhahahahaa.....
Well, I guess that's it for now. Talk to ya later!

Tuesday's rant

Well, I was going to go visit my grandmum but she isn't home so you all get another post. Muahahahhaha....
Today is, apparently, Tuesday. I was supposed to work but they didn't need me. I'm glad. Didn't feel like working anyway. (Lol The coordinator that called me told me to go back to sleep and have a great day. You just know the day is going to be great when you get a call like that at 5 in the morning.)
So instead of working, I slept in, then rode the exercise bike. Took the dog to the park. Grandmum didn't answer the phone so I'm still chillin' out here at home.
Might get to go hang out with Dawn tonight; Hope so since haven't gottten to actually see her or my little sweetheart Marie for weeks.
~~~~Crikey! She's home now so hasta lavista until next time ya'll!!!
Christmas is nearly over...
Christmas was pretty darn great!
Things went well and we all enjoyed a nice day. Opened presents around 8ish and then had traditional breakfast of homemade biscuits and gravy when Grandpa, Grandmum, and Leroy showed up. Grandmum had her new digital camera (and she is so very not high-tech so this is scary for her) and she took a bunch of terrible pictures, ie cut off heads and had pics of the floor and wall... She almost got a shot of my cleavage (what little exists) accidentally which made us all laugh when she said, "Oh honey, I almost got your chest!" Crazy Grandma. Maybe she needs a tripod? lol
Mum's brother came later for lunch. Other than that we spent most of the day just messing around. Dork played his new gamecube games. (007 and LOTR games) Much later we watched Shrek 2. It was pretty good.
Taking Courtney home Friday was a hoot. Talked the whole way to Hennrietta where we were meeting with my uncle, her stepdad, who was taking her the rest of the way. We had lunch with them at the Pig Out Palace. Isn't that hilarious? There were shirts there that I was very tempted to get... Those would make great gifts for any occasion. lol
(Update to "cupcake goodness iced with envy" from Dec 17th... I was right but they didn't work out so everything is back to as it was. Envy was misplaced and irrational. Proving again that I am crazy.)
Apparently I did well on my finals. Ended the semester with A's in Peoples of the World and Mythology and B's in Physics and Organic Chem. Passed Ballroom, of course. I'm happy with my grades. Not perfect but good enough for me and, hopefully, good enough to get into Pharm school (only need a 3.0 GPA).
My lovely aunt had surgery on her knee (and her ACL?) and is doing much better. I didn't know she was having surgery until the day before she had it done (on Wednesday). Been to see her and take some books to keep her occupied. I think she's going to drive my uncle crazy but they'll have fun with it too. They're so goofy and lovely.
The Cat is bonking me with her head to tell me that it's time to pay some attention to her. Oh! Courtney got a new little puppy. A chocolate-coloured Dachshund named Buddy. Yeah for puppies and kitties. (The Puss in Boots in Shrek 2 is the cutest ever and the fact that his voice is done by the awesome Antonio Banderas only adds to the cuteness. YEA!)
My ankle are still a little sore from ice skating. That was a blast though. I hope I can go again soon.
Dork got me a pony for Christmas. One of those stick ponies that make noise when you press the button on its ear. My pony doesn't have a name yet... so please help me with that??
Mum and I recently lightened my hair a little more. My main goal was to make my roots less noticeable. It looks nice but isn't that different from what it already was so don't expect to be shocked. I still look just like me. Promise.
Happy Day After Christmas! I think that's all I have to say. Will fill you in more later as I think of silly junk... lol.
Merry Christmas!
Hope ya'll have the best holiday weekend ever!
I've been doing well this week. After avoiding that family thing Sunday, I worked Monday and Tuesday. Cooked/baked with Mum Monday night. Wednesday ran errands around town and then went up to Dover for my Mum's side of the family Christmas thing until fairly late. Thursday went ice skating with Mum, Dork, and my cousins, then to another family event, in Hinton this time. (BTW Courtney has stayed at our house the entire week; we're taking her home today.) Has been a nice week. Well, we're leaving to take Court now so best wishes to you all and I love ya!
19 December 2004
Avoidance is a great policy
I am a bad, terrible person. I am avoiding going to a family event and don't even have the moxy to come up with a plausible lie for why I'm not going to be there. I'm just not there. Boowha!
I ate too much last night at the Christmas thing for my close family. I think I'm going to get huge if I don't watch it a bit...
Craziness. Everyone is running around, trying to get ready to leave and I'm just sitting here typing away. There's not much I can do to help them so I'm staying out of the way. Good times. I enjoy Christmas and all but sometimes I just want my rut back. Oh well, get over yourself Misty.
Hope ya'll have a great day. I'm off to go do not much of anything in particular. Loves ya'll!
18 December 2004
In which I talk too much about rolls...
I am home. It's very nice.
I'm still very sleepy after having gotten only 3 hours of sleep for Friday and about 8 this last night. I'm such a wussy. lol We have family staying over for the weekend. Good times.
Currently watching the rolls for Mum so she could go get cleaned up to go shopping a bit later. (She's making homemade dinner rolls for our family Christmas thing tonight. They smell great! Yum.)
Julia reports that Sushi is doing well. But I think she erroneously believes he doesn't miss me. What a load of bunk. Of course he does! lol
Must get going... loads of stuff to get done! Ya'll have a great weekend!
(Dork is watching as I type this and is making derogatory comments. He's so full of himself now that he's 16. lol Love you punk)
"A roll a day makes everyone happy" ~Dork ("hehehe, makes me look all cheesy now...")
17 December 2004
Cupcake goodness iced with envy?
Cupcakes were good. There are currently 3 left of the original 29 that merrily exited our oven. But we did give up many of them for adoption... Nick and Alex got 6, Melissa got 8 (she's an RA and needs them more), Heather got one (would have sent more but Sharice didn't want to carry them all), Julie got 4, and Stephanie got one... That makes 20... so that leaves 9 for us... and there are 3 left... Muhahahaha....
Earbuds are totally strange if you think about it. I wasn't really paying attention when I put mine in and got confused as to whether what I was doing was proper... Ya know, my mum always told me not to stick things in my ears and I do try to be a good, obedient daughter. So I was confused and thus... confused. I guess that says it all.
Happy Early Birthday to Bryan! I know you'll do great on your finals!
I got new cute shoes and earrings. The shoes because I broke my other black shoes and needed more... These were on sale and I like 'em well enough. Earrings were "free" since I bought 2 other pairs and got a 3rd pair "free" (and honest, the other 2 pairs aren't for me. They're Christmas presents for cousins. Theirs are totally cute too!!!) I think they're my new favorites.
Wanna hear how weird I am? I just found out one of my friends has a new S.O. and I'm a little astonished/jealous/confused. I really, truly am so happy for them but it also makes me feel like crapola since I totally think I'm cooler/more mature than this particular friend, so how did they get there first? ("There" meant as being in a relationship with someone they deem totally awesome and inspiring ~but maybe I'm assuming things?) Anyhoo... Irrational jealousy that should soon pass as my brain recovers from too much studying combined with too little sleep with the added gossip to annoy me in this much-hated level of Hades known as Winter Finals Week. Yes, I might just be crazy. Oh, and if you figure out that this might be you (99% chance it isn't but hey, why not be a narcissist too?) then congrats and I am sorry for being such a brat about it/telling the world. Loves you!
Guess I should get to packing to go home... I'll miss being here... Talk to ya'll very soon!!!
16 December 2004
I singth not, tis blasphemous.
Went shopping this morning for about 2 hours. Got most of my people done! Yea!!!! Still have to get my dirty santa gift for Saturday but I'll figure that out soon enough.
I think that the perfume I'm wearing today is making me ill. I don't usually wear this one, this sickness could be the reason...Urgh... I know I'm going to have a headache soon. How pathetic is that?
The clerk who checked me out at Target today was very chatty. You'd think we were best pals or something. Asked me more about my week and my finals than some of my actual friends do. Weird. (When I walked up with my stuff he asked if I was ready to check out, to which I answered "Yes, I am." He followed with "Scrumtious." Or at least I'm fairly certain that's what he said. Strange, huh? I would have been even more astonished if he had said 'scrumtrulesent'...)
Oops! Looks like I'm going to go make cupcakes now... I'll talk more at great length later!
"Believe in the power of Santa or get nothing... "
Dear Dog and Cat,
  • When I say to move, it means go someplace else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two of you in the way.
  • The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. (Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate & food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food & dish, nor do I find that
    aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.)
  • The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.
  • I cannot buy anything bigger than a king size bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort.
  • Look at videos of dogs and cats sleeping. They can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible (I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing but sarcasm.)
  • My compact discs are not miniature Frisbees.
  • For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob, or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. (In addition, I have been using the bathroom for years...canine or feline attendance is not mandatory.)
  • The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dogs' or cats' butt. I cannot stress this enough. It would be such a simple change for you.
  • To pacify you I have posted the following message on our front door....
    Rules for Non-pet owners who visit and like to complain about our pets:
    1. They live here; you don't.
    2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.
    3. I like my pet better than I like most people.
    4. To you it's an animal. To me he and/or she is an adopted son and/or daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and is speech challenged.
  • Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug using friends, don't drink or smoke, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and if they get pregnant, you can sell the results.
      Prayer For The Day, " Lord, please make me the kind of person my dog thinks I am."
      Moi? But of course...
      Melissa is so silly...~>
      Dork is now fully licensed and ready to drive solo according to the state of Oklahoma DMV. Scary thought, huh? I know you're worried... lol
      I have the worst case of procrastination ever known to man or beast. I do not feel like studying OChem and am rebeling by writing this... I suck because I know I need to study and will eventually study but I won't like it. Been trained too darn well...
      My eyes are blue today. I know, you're wondering, "Well, when weren't they?" Well, dear, just earlier this week they were almost green. I don't understand this concept of blue eyes changing back and forth to different colours. Seems weird to me. But mine apparently do just that. Who knew?
      Watched a ton of trash tv at work today. Got so sick of it I actually outlined a few chapters in my OChem book. That's pathetic...
      Christmas is almost here. Are you ready? Am I? I bet both answers start with an "N"... (though yours might be "Never would I wait so late to start shopping and getting into the Christmas mood!" Mine sure isn't that... lol)
      Well, folks that's all I have for now. Hope you have a safe and smart Wed/Thurs/Fri! Love you!
      13 December 2004
      Finals week will begin soon...
      Happy Early Birthday to my favorite Dork!!!! (He’s turning 16 Tuesday!!!) Yea!!!!
      Since we had Dork’s birthday party this weekend, I went home for a while. Enjoyed my time at home with parentals and bro. So glad to be going home for longer soon for Christmas break. It’s going to rock!!!
      On a side, but relevant, note: At Dork’s party Sunday afternoon… I made the cake and icing from scratch… yummy chocolate on chocolate!!! Rocked so much that there was hardly any left when everyone finally went home. ~Most of the time they were all there I felt torn. I wanted to be there, belonged there, and should be there but also just wanted to leave and be by myself or with just my immediate family. I love them all so much so why do I feel like this? It’s new to me to be like this; I felt almost trapped. And they weren’t doing anything to make me feel that, I just did, ya know? I’m confused by this and wish I could figure it out. I love them. I want and need to be around them. So why the dread and craving for running far, far away? I sure pray that they didn’t catch on. Hopefully I’m a good enough actress to believably pretend to be having fun or maybe just be a little tired, because you know she’s been studying and working so much… Whatever works, I suppose. The tired part is pretty true...
      As for the confusing feeling earlier last week, Dad says I’m just very empathetic and mirror the emotions of those around me. I’m not sure if that’s it. No one around me was acting especially sad or weird. Julia and Sharice seemed to act normal enough, for them anyway. I don’t know but it’s as good as any of the ideas I came up with on my own.
      New band you should hear about… Radial Angel is a local band. Pretty darn good in my humble opinion. My favorite of theirs is Not Beautiful…
      Still need to finish a ton of Christmas shopping. Only person I have finished is Grandmum. Sad, huh? Been concentrating so hard on other things (if you’re Mum then Finals, if anyone else then having fun… lol) that just have had to put it off. That and I’m not much of a shopper. By that I mean I don’t just adore it and go shopping every freaking chance I get. I prefer to have a plan when I shop, like know almost exactly what I’m getting everyone and spend as little time in stores as possible. I know, I should be kicked out of the Girls Club but it’s true. I’ve been an Anti-Shoppers Anonymous member since birth. Oh well.
      Ya’ll have a great week and many laughs. Terribly sorry this isn’t as chipper and lovely as it would ideally be. I suck, enough said. Love to ya!
      09 December 2004
      Long arse survey
      I'm feeling better. It's still there but almost gone...
      Don't feel like talking right now (how unusual is that?) so I'll just copy and paste this survey that I stole from Mel V and changed the answers on last night... This is pretty long so I understand if you get bored and stop reading it...
      I'm so confused...
      Crikey. I am rather glad that this is the last week of classes this semester...
      Oh! But I do have some good news! I just got my PCAT scores in! Made a 94% composite! I've been told that's a great thing. I sure hope so since I don't really understand their grading scale and I know my GPA isn't the highest. Thank goodness I test well or I wouldn't ever make it into pharm school (still might not but have a better chance than otherwise).
      [I almost typed" Thank God I test well, etc" but that seems too irreverent and flippant, though I am very, very honestly thankful for it. Maybe since that phrase has been over-used in an irreverent manner it sounds worse to me to say it that way?]
      'Cause when I look to the sky something tells me you're here with me
      And you make everything alright
      And when I feel like I'm lost something tells me you're here with me
      And I can always find my way when you are here
      For some reason, all this morning and yesterday I haven't really felt my normal happy self. My heart felt sad for some unknown reason. I really don't understand it. I've got nothing in the world to be sad about or really even worried about. Here in the Land of Perfect there isn't anything to complain about; not really. (I'm not being sarcastic, I promise.) I feel a little better now but it's still there. Worse than stomach butterflies. Wish I knew what it was...
      Anyway, hope ya'll have a great week! (hugs and good wishes!)
      There is no such thing as an omen. Destiny does not send us heralds. She is too wise or too cruel for that. -Oscar Wilde
      Okay so I got bored a couple of days ago... here are the fruits of my boredom...
      Where will you find love?
      HASH(0x8b1098c)
      Accidentally,
      you will find them, in the last place you would expect, maybe they are near you right now and you don't know. You love to have a good time, that is why the chances that you and he will be friends first then get in a romantic relationship is very high, so open your eyes and think, it might be so close.
      Re: Sunday...
      Guess I should start back at Friday. I went to class as usual. Organic was evil since we’d just had that test the night before. Learned even more junk. Physics was rather stupid since we had a substitute professor since Abbott was gone. Sharice picked a great day to miss. Ranisha, Josh, and I mostly ignored him after we figured out that he was talking and writing (in un-seeable green ink) too fast. Just got too darn frustrating to keep up. Laughing at everything was much more fun. (“Yeah, sports are definitely Sharice’s forte.” “Yeah, true. Ya know, I don’t really have a forte…Where was I went they were handing out fortes?” “Um, I don’t know… Where were you?” -- I know this doesn’t sound funny but it made me laugh so hard b/c Ranisha honestly didn’t know where I was then… she wasn’t just making fun… lol)
      Made it here around 2ish… played on the computer until Julia and I decided to make our Wal-Mart run and rent some movies too. (Sharice went home this weekend, so don’t think we’re leaving her out on purpose.) Wal-Mart Friday was hilarious. ‘Ran into’ one of the old men I had to dance with Thursday at the Snow Ball and he said hello to me by name. Then Julia and I checked out the same guy as we headed toward the frozen stuff. He had really nice legs. It’s weird that I noticed him since I don’t usually go around checking out guys’ legs. Thus you know he must have had some awesome legs.
      Not long after, we were searching for superglue so Julia could “glue the rhinestones back onto her phone” and we weren’t really sure where it was kept… Ended up on the Office supplies aisle looking a tad confused since we still didn’t see it… Then our Knight in shining armor (Er, a Wal-Mart vest) showed up and offered his assistance since we “looked so lost.” Oh, a real man to help us poor little girls! Thank heavens! Turns out he didn’t know where it was either. He had to ask the little old lady that was passing by with a box of paper. Then, when superglue was reported to be located in the terrible, dangerous next-aisle-over he offered his services in guiding us through and procuring superglue for the poor damsels in distress. Julia said it looked like he and I were racing to see who could find the glue first. She was dying laughing as she pushed the cart behind us. I, in my quest for glue, was smiling huge since I was really fighting off the giggles until I was far enough away that he wouldn’t think I was laughing at him. Too funny…
      Next, as we were looking for a line to check out in, I spotted Legs guy again and motioned to Julia… She apparently looked up at him just as he turned around and she got caught “checking him out.” Lol. After we paid, etc. and loaded the stuff in the car I turned to take the buggy back to the proper place. I never made it that far. Wal-Mart cart pusher guy in dark shades stepped up quickly and offered to help me. Old ladies all over the place with empty carts needing help and I alone get help from dark shades guy. Is it wrong of me to be a little weirded out by that?
      [At some point in here I'm a little confused... Friday and Saturday are a little mixed... sorry for that, but then I am insane. I've been having trouble with work too so not sure what's what...]
      Got back here without much further incident. Watched 3 movies straight in a row: Dirty Dancing – Havana Nights, Ella Enchanted, and Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. My favorite was Eternal followed closely by Ella. Dirty Dancing was ok but couldn’t really compete with the other two. Dirty Dancing was just too predictable. Eternal really made me think. Ella made me laugh. Good times.
      Ended up bored after the movies so we went driving around Norman, taking pictures of weird things, trying to get lost, and looking at Christmas lights. Drove through a humongous cemetery around midnight. Was really fairly creepy. I know if I had seen anyone there in the dark with that weird moon out that I would have screamed like the little girl I am. Needless to say it was quite fun.
      Saturday was rather lazy. Woke up late (making up for all those nights I only got 5 hours of sleep). Got dressed and watched some TV. Played on the computer. Went to Mass with Julia. (Good sermon even though it was really simple. Made me think. Talked about the fire burning off the chaff during harvesting wheat… The chaff isn’t us or the bad ones among us but instead the chaff is our sins that God takes away from us to make us better. Isn’t that insightful or at least a happy thought? I like it…)
      Made dinner. Watched part of the OU-Colorado game. Sharice got here really late. That’s about it for Saturday. This morning nothing has really happened other than me being miffed at my place of employment. Good times.
      Sunday continued
      I just woke up a bit ago. Good times. This has got to be my laziest weekend in, like, forever! It's kinda nice but I know it's not going to happen again for a while and, really, I'm ok with that. You should totally read both Julia's and Mel L's web journals since both include things I should write about here. (I'll get to that stuff when I get to it... lol) Mel even has some pics of me at the Snow Ball but they're scary so be forewarned. Now I'm going to go find something to do... Later!
How does that work? Is the manager person mad at me? I'm very tired and don't mind getting more sleep but still... wtf mate? I'm all dressed and ready to go... But it is raining outside. Guess there is some good with the bad. Now I'm just rambling because I can't think of anything else to say other than wtf mate? [...yawn] Later. I'm going back to bed and sleeping a very long time...
      03 December 2004
      TGIF or I would go crazy
      (I wrote this last night and somehow forgot to let it post it... so here it is... yawn... need a nap...)
      I'm writing this late at night. Very late... it's basically morning right now if I really wanted to admit to such a crazy thing. Julia and I stayed up late watching Chocolat. Yum. Chocolate and Johnny Depp, who could ask for anything more?
      Well, actually I've stayed up very late after a very, very long day. Good but long. Woke up earlier than I had to this morning since needed to keep studying for organic chem test this afternoon. Worked on that before and after I took the girls to class. Went to class myself...
      POTW was alright. Video. I'm a bit peeved at my prof in there since he has decided to make us come to class next week after all. He had previously promised a reprieve; We wouldn't be having class since we're meeting Monday and Wednesday nights to watch the film for our final paper. But, since he's so evil and crazy, he has taken back his word and will expect to see our oh-so-happy faces on time next week as well. Grrr. Not right at all. Myth was just more of the Odyssey. Good times.
      Back here for more studying until I couldn't take it anymore and went crazy. I decided to change my name to Marianna and dye my hair pink and green for the holiday season. Then I'll mail myself to England just in time for my royal wedding to Prince William. Marianna and William, doesn't that sound nice? See, actually I'm kidding. I didn't do that stuff. I just went to my test like a normal person. (wink wink lovey... you know I'll be there in 2 days or the delivery is free...) Survived it but not sure I did very well. Hopefully I passed.
      After all that hullabullo I went to the Snow Ball at the Union. Changed from t-shirt and jeans to nice formal dress in the Union bathroom, which honestly isn't the best or most exciting place to do such (suppose it could have been a bit more funny if I had tried to change in the men's room but, alas, I chose the women's. It's never lady's anymore, just women's... what's up with that?) Had fun at the dance even though I didn't have a date. Not really a problem when you have as much fun watching other people as I do. And, boy, were there plenty of entertaining people there tonight. lol. Good times. Thanks for putting up with me Mel; you're a saint! I did really enjoy it. But next time I'm making someone go with me one way or another. (And frankly, it isn't much fun dancing with a fellow coming down from tranquilizer darts but a girl has to do what a girl has to do, right?) Guess this will serve as a warning to whomever I'm going to make go next time. Muhahahahahaaaa....
      So, yeah, you would think that at 2300 I would be tired and ready for sleepy town... but no. So Julia and I watched Chocolat. Very nice. Just finished a bit ago. Now that I've written that all out I'm very sleepy... yawn.... Hope ya'll are doing well! Love you!
      01 December 2004
      Friends are great for talking about
      It really doesn't feel like Wednesday. Feels rather like it should be Thursday... huh...
      (Monday's dance class went alright... Was at the Commons instead of the Ballroom as usual. Really different feel to the class in that different setting. Who knew? It's getting colder... Tuesday was pretty good. I got most of the stuff on my list for the day done. Physics group problem went well. Turned in EVIL journal thing in POTW. Started the Odyssey in Myth. Got to see my shows yesterday even though I ought to have been studying instead. Was a really jam packed episode of One Tree Hill. Like, all the things they've been leading up to finally happened, or started to really happen. Made dinner with Julia. We really have too much fun doing junk like that; it just isn't right. lol Organic this morning was boring and a real challenge to keep awake in. I just skipped physics class today since he's just reviewing and going over examples. Easy stuff. Mucho thanks to Sharice for taking my clicker for me! You Rock!!!)
      I've decided to catch ya'll up on some of my friends...
      AK is doing well. Has a new gf, isn't going to school, and is working at a pizza place.
      Dawn's doing alright but praying for her is always a good idea. She seems to do things with the express purpose of worrying me sometimes. Can't explain it any other way. lol Her Josh is doing alright I suppose. I'm not too happy with him right now but then he isn't my SO. Marie is still cute as ever. She's a whole year old now!
      I think DJ's still rocking in Stillwater. He's back with Jaymi. He and Mike have a new cat, named either Cat or Spaz depending on who you ask. Mike (and his Allie) are doing great. Keeping busy, etc.
      My Dork is doing alright. Is running the light board for the HS play this week. Lucky duck gets to miss class all week! I couldn't go but wish him all the best. Play time with Crider is always crazy. lol
      FiSH says he's doing fine. Busy with school, work, and frat (& partying). His little sister was in a car accident, though, this week sometime. She's ok but a little bruised up and the vehicle was totalled. Poor kid, she just started driving a few months ago... Sucks.
      Jen is doing alright. Going crazy from studying organic chem though.
      Julia said something about being scrumtrulesent. You should ask her. Bug her a bunch. She likes it. Really. lol Sharice is keeping busy with work and school. And putting up with her fun roommates... lol Mel L is doing well, I think. Silly as ever, I know that much. Studying hard like the good kid she is.
      Julie apparently has a new fella. I don't know much about the situation but I'm sure it's all good.
      Mel V seems to be doing pretty well. She said it snowed in Weatherford... yesterday maybe? Good times I'm sure.
      Haven't seen Morgan lately but I hear he's doing great. Same with Sean and TP. Carl is all better and, I assume, doing well. Maybe I need to get to calling people more often... lol
      Sushi is currently living in Okarche. He went home for Thanksgiving and decided to stay for the rest of the semester.
      So, I think that's enough procrastination for now. Hope you all are doing well and enjoying your respective weeks. Love ya!
